Today’s Fair Highlights At A Glance — Wednesday, July 29

IMG_6289Theme: Today is Kids Day! Also, the opening ceremony for the 9/11 Never Forget Exhibit south of the commercial exhibit buildings is at 9 a.m.

Weather: Today’s going to be warm, and there’s a chance of showers this afternoon, but whatever rain smatters through will clear off by late afternoon. The good news is that temperatures and humidity are going to go down as the front moves through.

Grandstands: The 2015 Elkhart County 4-H Fair Concert Series wraps up at 8 p.m. with Montgomery Gentry. Reserved track seats are available for this year’s final show for $30.  Grandstand seating for all shows is free with admission. For ordering information on reserved track seats, click here.

And of course, action will continue at the grandstands for the rest of the week, with the tractor pull Thursday, the rodeo on Friday and the demolition derby Saturday.

Rides: Kiddieland rides are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Kiddieland wristbands for $12. After that, all rides open with rides one ticket each from 1 p.m. until closing at 11 p.m.
