Sunday’s Fair Parade Lineup Is Set — Here’s Where To Find It

Screen Shot 2016-07-21 at 12.15.50 PMThe Elkhart County 4-H Fair Parade is always a popular event as it winds its way through downtown Goshen to the fairgrounds, with thousands of people lining the three-mile route every year.

This year’s parade lineup has been set, with 133 entries taking part.

They’ll all line up in Linway Plaza — participants can get information at parade.4hfair.org — and step off promptly at 1:30 p.m.

The parade heads east on Lincoln Avenue, then south on Main Street. It heads east on Madison Street/U.S. 33 and follows the highway to Monroe Street/C.R. 34, which it follows to the fairgrounds and passes in front of the grandstands, where the parade ends.

For those wanting to reach the fairgrounds to view the end of the parade, the new C.R. 36 South Gate will provide an unencumbered entrance to the fairgrounds. Just follow the posted express routes to get there.
