New This Year: Online Gate Admission Tickets!

Screen Shot 2016-05-11 at 6.34.54 PMThe Elkhart County 4-H Fair Board launched a brand-new feature Wednesday, May 11, allowing fairgoers to conveniently purchase their gate admission tickets online starting now.

That means that online purchasers can avoid the lines at the ticket booths during the nine days of the fair by buying online and printing the ticket out at home or downloading it to a smartphone. Once that’s done, bypass the ticket booth and head straight to the gate to meet one of our friendly ticket takers and get scanned into the fairgrounds.

Online tickets cost the same as tickets at the gate: $8.

To buy tickets, click here or choose the “Click to Buy 2016 Admission Tickets” section on the fair homepage at 4hfair.org. Online tickets are for sale through the end of the fair.

The launch of online fair-admission tickets comes just 10 days before online and in-person sales begin for reserved track seats for this year’s Elkhart County 4-H Fair Summer Concert Series.

May 21 is the on-sale date for $35 reserved track seats to see:

  • Foreigner on Saturday, July 23
  • Trace Adkins with special guests The Garris Brothers Band on Monday, July 25
  • Chris Janson with special guest Jameson Rodgers on Tuesday, July 26
  • Eli Young Band with special guests The Wolfe Brothers on Wednesday, July 27

Those tickets will be on sale online at 4hfair.org, by telephone at 574-533-FAIR (3247) or in person at the fair office at 17746 C.R. 34, Goshen, IN  46528.

Reserved track seats don’t include fair admission, and like always, grandstand seating for all shows is free (with paid fair admission) on a first-come, first-served basis.

When Building 429 plays Sunday, July 24, fair admission is free and reserved track seats can be obtained through WFRN’s live remote broadcasting events.

The 2016 Elkhart County 4-H Fair, “Let’s Pull Together for 4-H,”  runs July 22-30.
