Food Row gets ready for fairgoers this morning, July 24, 2015, opening day of the fair.

Boosting financial support for one of Elkhart County’s most popular community events, Keystone RV Co. is the official sponsor of “Famous Food Row” at this year’s Elkhart County 4-H Fair. Food Row is the main north-south fair thoroughfare jam-packed with vendors with every type of delicious and unusual food, running between Heritage Park and the Midway..

In an announcement sent to RVBusiness, Keystone President Matt Zimmerman noted, “Creating a strong positive presence in the community is important to Keystone. As one of Elkhart County’s leading employers, virtually all of our employees live and work in the area. We feel it is important for them, our friends, and neighbors to see us take an active role. Elkhart County is a great place to live, work and play. We intend to do our share to help continue the proud tradition of the Elkhart County 4-H Fair.”

In addition to providing the huge welcome banner above “Famous Food Row,” the Goshen-based manufacturer will involve its Keystone and Dutchmen division employees in creating unique web and social media content during the fair. Research by the fair board shows that going for the food is a prime motivation for many attendees.

“Many of our employees have volunteered to become fair food tasters, sharing their comments, photos, videos, and ‘likes’ on various social media sites associated with Keystone and Dutchmen,” said Zimmerman. “Our goal is to have fun while helping to create a buzz about ‘Famous Food Row.’”

“Having Keystone involved in the fair in an even bigger way is exciting,” said 4-H Fair Marketing Coordinator Kristy Ambrosen. “The Elkhart County 4-H Fair is celebrating its 165th year and is stronger than ever. Last year’s attendance was a record at 269,000 visitors. With support from community members like Keystone, we are planning to continue to grow in a big way.”
