4-H auction sets new record

The 2014 Elkhart County 4-H Fair livestock auction set a new record with a preliminary total of $1,156,763. This is the second year that the 4-H auction total has passed $1 million. Last year’s then-record-breaking total was $1,044,924. Most 4-Hers in livestock breeds auction off their animals the last Friday of the show, with the purchase price for each animal going …
