BMX Stunt Riders, Moving RoboCars and Princesses Are All Part Of The Fair This Year

Death-defying stunts, amazing costumes and fairytale ladies are all part of the mix for the 2016 Elkhart County 4-H Fair.

IMG_6611For two days only, Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23, you can catch the BMX Stunt Show on the basketball courts on the northwest side of the fairgrounds, just west of the Farmstead area. Each show — 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. — is packed with high-flying stunts including 360s, tail whips, a variety of backflips and even front flips.

From Tuesday (July 26) through the end of the fair, the RoboCars will be performing at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  The RoboCars are costumes that actually drive, and they’re the closest thing we’ll find in real life to the big-screen and cartoon robots that change shape. Their performances have been seen on a variety of television shows and are sure to impress and delight children and adults alike.

PrincessesWe’ve also added a little glitter to Heritage Park at this year’s fair. The Winter sisters will appear at Dinner in the Park on Friday (July 22) at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and then again on Wednesday (July 27) at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Rapunzel and Cinderella will appear on Saturday (July 23) at Dinner in the Park at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and then again on Thursday (July 28) at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Get a selfie with your favorite fairytale princess.
