Attendance Strong At The 2015 Fair, And The Finish Should Be Great

CrowdWhile we had a hot start to the 2015 Elkhart County 4-H Fair, attendance numbers so far have been solid.

Friday (July 24) saw 24,003 people pass through the gates on opening day, well above the five-year average of 21,100 people on opening day.

Saturday (July 25) we welcomed 20,686 people.

While we don’t track exact Sunday Free Family Fun Day numbers, the estimate for this year is 35,000.

Monday saw 21,179 people come to the fair.

Tuesday brought 25,723 people — the highest Tuesday attendance figure this decade.

Wednesday saw 28,620 people at the gate.

Thursday’s attendance was 40,687, the second-highest Thursday in the years going back to 2010, second only to last year’s Thursday attendance.

Justin Moore 2While none of the days so far has broken any records, even our lightest days have been better than other comparable days in the last six years.

Through Thursday night, we’d seen 195,898 guests at the fair.

With today and Saturday yet to go, and excellent fair weather in the forecast, people still have a good chance to enjoy the wide variety of family events, rides and fair food we have at the 2015 Elkhart County 4-H Fair.
